Packard Bell joins the million other companies that have released a DAP device. Labelled the AudioStar, this coin-sized voice recorder/mp3 player features a 1.8 inch color LCD and only weighs 49 grams. It supports the "Play for Sure" technology so you'll be able to use music subscription services like Napster, which is a plus. But there is one big negative (besides the measly 10 hour battery life): In order to view a video file, you must first convert it to the Packard Bell's "MTV" format.
It has 1024MB of flash memory and comes with earphones, USB cable, and charger.
