If your children are begging you for a cell phone, you may consider NTT DoCoMo's new phone, the FOMA SA800i. This phone is designed to keep elementary school-aged children safe. It features a GPS tracking device (can send location to your phone or computer), an attack alarm that can be activated by pulling a large ring, and it has parental controls that can limit access to certain services.
The FOMA SA800i won't be available until spring of next year.
