Tivo announced today that its TivoToGo service is now availabe for Microsoft devices. TivoToGo is now available on Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Portable Media Centers, as well as certain Windows Mobile-based Smartphones, and Pocket PCs.
TivoToGo was announced earlier this year and allowed users to shift recorded TV programs to a personal home computer in the same home. Now users will be able to travel with these programs and watch them on their portable devices. Microsoft is hoping that this feature will increase sales of portable media players.
~I don't own a Tivo, but I own a ReplayTV that I bought back in 2000. I have a HD DVR from my Comcast that I am currently using. I know that Comcast and Tivo signed a distribution deal earlier this year, so I'm wondering if Comcast customers will ever be able to take advantage of TivoToGo in the future. I would definitely be interested in this service.~

That would be nice. That means that I could watch a full broadcast of my recorded TiVo programs from my Smartphone or Pocket PC. I wonder how big that would be to fit on an SD card. You'll probably have to convert it though.
