Full Java support added to PDA browser, Thunderhawk

Bitstream announced yesterday that full Java support has been added to their PDA browser, Thunderhawk 2.1 Pocket PC Edition.

"While most mobile browsers provide limited Java support, ThunderHawk is the only wireless Web browser that displays full HTML pages while offering desktop-level Java 1.5.0 capabilities. Subscribers can r un powerful Java applets on a Pocket PC using ThunderHawk, and the applets will behave on the mobile device just as they do on the desktop."

Users will be able read dynamic news feeds, track weather patterns, access corporate databases, and other activities that were previously limited by the lack of full Java support.

Download a 30-day free trial.
